OK kids. I'm looking for help here. I mean the comments page better be blown up, OK?! What is your favorite Southern California Garden Blog? And I don't mean mine of course!
Tell me. Not sure what's the best way, but a contest is forming...
I don't know a lot of So Cal gardening blogs, but one of my favorite of ALL gardening blogs is from So Cal: A Growing Obsession! Rancho Reubidoux, Laguna Dirt and yours get props too. I better check back for some reading recommendations.
Not fair! This is like inviting all your friends over for a slumber party and then announcing which one of them is your "best friend"...(something 12 year old girls would enjoy I'm sure). While there are many to love I do agree with Ryan one of my very fav's is A Growing Obsession. Not only does Denise take gorgeous photos but has a great wit and posts on varied topics of interest.
I only wish there were more quality Socal blogs, I'm an LA girl, but a Norcal resident.Denise gets my vote, how could she not ? --but I love the Rancho too !
I couldn't say. I've only just discovered all these SoCal blogs so asking me to pick a favorite would be like asking me to pick a favorite plant. It just wouldn't be fair!
I couldn't pick a favorite either, but amazing to think I'm someone's favorite blog! Chance of Rain, Dirt Du Jour, this one, Reuben, Kaveh's new blog, Laguna Dirt -- all so different but all must reads!
Don't hate: I can't name a fave! ... so many give so much, and I take from each something different. But those I read with any regularity are: non-secateur, A Growing Obsession, Laguna Dirt, Dirt Du Jour and, of course, the LATimes' garden blog. I love my blog most days, but sometimes don't think of it as a garden blog ... Reub
Ooh, I might have to copy your idea for northern California blogs. I just launched mine (poppiness.com) all about gardening for wildlife with native plants.
I'm going to bookmark your list here for more great California blogs to check out.

ReplyDeleteI have to go with A Growing Obsession too. Reading her blog feels like a correspondence course where I learn about my favorite things.
